Madigan Pratt
Managing Director

Prior to founding MP&A, Madigan Pratt spent 15 years providing strategic marketing communications for sophisticated marketing-oriented Fortune 500 companies, including Procter & Gamble, Colgate Palmolive, Citibank, Xerox, and M&M/Mars.

In the mid-1980’s Madigan spearheaded the integration of general advertising and direct marketing activities for the $65M Xerox account. Highly successful, sales-focused communications programs led him to pioneer and practice many of the integrated and relationship marketing disciplines practiced widely today.

In the late 1980’s he formed Madigan Pratt & Associates, Inc. a consulting firm dedicated exclusively to bringing new and more effective marketing solutions to resorts, hotels and destinations.

Madigan serves on numerous travel industry association boards including The Association of Travel Marketing Executives (past Chairman), the Caribbean Tourism Organization (Executive Committee) and the Travel & Tourism Research Association/NY (President). His articles are widely published and he is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. Madigan is often quoted in trade publications on issues relating to marketing, branding, all aspects of communications.

Ann Hughes
Managing Partner

Ann Hughes is a 25-year agency communications veteran who has held senior management positions at several of the world’s largest communications firms. Her last 15 years have been spent specializing in direct marketing.

Over a period of 12 years at Wunderman Worldwide, and DraftWorldwide – two of the world’s largest direct marketing companies – Ann lead teams working with American Express, Citibank, Hilton Hotels, Hyatt Hotels, British Airways and Bell Atlantic/Verizon.

Ann is expert in lead generation, traffic building and customer retention marketing. She has helped clients segment their databases to identify the high value customers responsible for the majority of profits. Segmentation is also used to develop recognition programs and to stimulate incremental business.

Her business experience has provided Ann with extensive expertise in strategic partnerships that help maintain a relevant, profitable customer relationship.

Michele Murray
Website/Graphic Design

Michele Murray has always been interested in graphic design and is now skilled in virtually every major graphic arts and web design software available today including Photoshop, Illustrator, Macromedia Dreamweaver, WordPress and Blogger.

No matter what creative challenges come her way – be they advertising, collateral material or web related, Michele can always be counted on to come up with innovative, creative and cost effective solutions.

She has been designing Web pages since 2000 and has been responsible for managing sites of over 3000 pages on a large corporate intranet site, smaller business Web sites, and many small personal Web pages and blogs.

She is familiar with current Web technologies including XML, CMS, CSS, HTML, PHP, and Javascript.

Michele holds a certification as a CIW Associate, and an i-Net+ certification from Comptia.

Priscilla Caldwell
Public Relations Director

Accredited in Public Relations (APR), Priscilla Bevel Caldwell has attained 17 years of communications experience, serving the travel industry for the past 10 years. Recently she managed communications for the Greater Williamsburg Chamber and Tourism Alliance, specializing in travel and tourism media relations. During her tenure, Priscilla coordinated the largest media tour ever sponsored by the state through the Virginia Tourism Corporation to generate media coverage for Virginia’s Historic Triangle in advance of the 2007 commemoration of the 400th anniversary of the founding of Jamestown.

Priscilla began her professional communications career as a reporter in 1991, and then wrote professionally for several years in development. In 1997 she transitioned into program management and public relations. A member of the Public Relations Society of America and the prestigious Society of American Travel Writers, Priscilla brings to her position an extensive network of national and international media

An alumna of the College of William and Mary in Virginia, Priscilla was graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland, Europe, with a degree in English. She has traveled extensively having visited more than 20 countries and as many U.S. states. Recent expeditions have included Hungary, the Czech Republic and Switzerland.
